An educational and recreational interior in Prishtina where light, soft geometry and flexible furniture encourage learning through play.

Q-K-F-2 in Prishtina is designed entirely around the world of children. Conceived as an educational and recreational centre, its architecture becomes a tool for development. Within 200 m², the aim was to create a warm, fluid and completely safe environment that encourages children to learn through play and social interaction.

The interior avoids strict, cold divisions. Rounded openings connect the different zones, while elements drawn from nature and a controlled use of colour stimulate creativity without creating visual overload. Large windows with external blinds regulate daylight, and circular skylights bring light from above, making the rooms feel taller and more open.

Every detail is considered from a child's perspective and scale. Curved modular seating in green, orange and turquoise can be rearranged by educators for different activities and group games. White walls form a quiet background for animal illustrations that encourage curiosity, while the soft grey floor provides comfort and helps absorb noise.

We believe the places where children grow should be transparent, open and full of light. Traditional doors are replaced with welcoming arches that allow easy supervision without creating a sense of separation. Handle-free storage keeps the rooms safe and visually clean, and different corners support reading, drawing, active play and the changing rhythms of the day.
