Born Villa

A compact two-storey villa in Prishtina defined by monochrome contrast, clean volumes and an intimate connection to its garden.

Born Villa is an expression of rational modern architecture in Prishtina. Within a compact area of 260 m², this two-storey residence is designed to offer an intimate living experience that still feels bright and spacious.

The design is based on a clear contrast of volume and material: a light white box cantilevers above a strong, monolithic base of dark stone. It shows how a sense of luxury can be achieved through simplicity, clean lines and the removal of unnecessary decoration.

Every square metre is used carefully, creating a strong link between the interior and the paved courtyard. Large sliding windows on the ground floor are fitted with external horizontal blinds, allowing precise control of light and privacy. Above, a long balcony with a frameless glass balustrade preserves the clarity of the white volume and keeps the views from the bedroom open.

With Born Villa, we wanted to create a pure monochrome architecture where light and shadow take on the main decorative role. The cantilever gives the house a sense of movement while naturally sheltering the ground-floor terrace. Concealed linear lighting traces this geometry in the evening, while pale paving transitions into planted areas of lavender and low shrubs. Smart blinds and concealed insulation behind the ventilated facade support a high standard of comfort and energy efficiency.
