Competition
3,000 m²
A competition proposal that reimagines the kindergarten as a warm sequence of colourful, recognisable spaces.
This competition proposal takes a forward-looking approach to educational spaces for children. Conceived as a sequence of colourful, rhythmic modules, the kindergarten moves away from the monotony of a traditional institution.
Monumental windows blur the boundary between the interior and the natural landscape outside. Each module works as a small house with its own colour and identity, helping children develop a sense of belonging and find their way around easily.
Across 3,000 m², the focus is on creating a warm, transparent and inspiring environment. Large areas of glazing bring natural light into every classroom, while the rooms open visually and physically towards the garden, turning it into a natural extension of learning and play. Earth tones, terracotta and soft blues encourage creativity without creating visual overload.
We believe architecture for children should be open, safe and full of light. The simple geometric forms respond to a child's perception of space, high-performance glazing supports passive winter heating, and the shared courtyard brings children, educators and parents together as a community.
