AN Horizon

A contemporary residential building in Bar that brings together coastal light, open views and a calm modular facade.

AN Horizon in Bar is a residential project that reflects the simplicity, elegance and practicality of contemporary coastal architecture. Its location offers a strong connection to the landscape and open horizon, creating a calm, high-quality living environment.

The exterior is organised through a clean, regular facade grid that balances privacy with generous natural light from the Mediterranean setting. Large, pale cream panels give the building a clear monolithic character, reflecting sunlight and keeping its appearance visually fresh.

A recessed upper floor in a warm terracotta tone gives the building its own identity and breaks the uniformity of the main volume. Integrated balconies with frameless glass balustrades allow light to pass through and create space for personal greenery connected to the shared planted courtyard below.

Our aim with AN Horizon was to introduce a new standard of collective housing in Bar. Tall French windows provide every apartment with good ventilation, daylight and a close relationship with the landscape. The ground-level garden creates a pleasant microclimate, while durable facade materials and window frames were chosen for the coastal climate and ease of maintenance.
